Duty to the Court

Every legal professional owes a paramount duty to the court to uphold the administration of justice. This duty overrides all other obligations, including the duty to the client, whenever a conflict arises.
Professionals must act with complete honesty, integrity, and candour, ensuring that the court is never misled by false statements, omissions, or deceptive conduct. All representations made before the court must be accurate, fair, and supported by evidence or law.
It is the responsibility of every advocate or legal practitioner to assist the court in achieving a fair and impartial outcome, maintaining respect for judicial processes, and preserving the dignity of the legal system.
